Small Sardines, Espinaler

£10.00

Espinaler / Spain / 115g

Why We Like It

The Espinaler company began as a small tavern in Barcelona in 1896. After the civil war, they began making and bottling their own vermouth. This vermouth naturally required accompanying tapas, and by the 1970s they were canning their own fish and snacks - The best seafood is selected from Galicia, and every tin is produced and packed at just the right time, ensuring the highest quality. So, tinned sardines don’t get better than these!

What To Expect

These premium small sardines are fished at the beginning of Autumn when they are at their finest. Each tin contains 30 to 40 sardines served in golden olive oil. Delicious in a salad, as a simple supper of sardines on toast, or use in Pasta Con La Sarde (a Sicilian pasta dish with fennel, pine nuts and anchovies).

Ingredients: sardines (sardina pilchardus), olive oil (26%), salt
