Cedric Perraud, Goccia Rosso, 2021

£33.00

Why We Like It

A while ago, a very serious Pinot lover told Kit that now Burgundy was becoming the daily drink of oligarchs and billionaires, the smart money was going two places. Firstly the Loire (see Chateau Yvonne) and Sicily, specifically Etna Rosso.

Cedric Perraud was way ahead of this, moving from his native Nantes in the Loire to Sicily, and now lives and works his 1.5 hectares of vines on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, producing tiny quantities of wine that we are very happy to bring to our own fair isle of Jersey.

What To Expect

A medium bodied, dark cherry and blood orange scented bottling with a crisp acidity that makes this wine beg for food. Pinot fans will want to try this.

Nerello Macsalese / 13% / Etna, Sicily / 75cl
